New Verizon Droid Smart Phone Hits the Market - Is Your Business Ready?

The new Verizon BlackBerry hits the market – is your business ready for your share of the gravy? It is felt in some quarters that the Verizon Droid and the iPhone are equally big. The BlackBerry Storm 3 can perform the same functions as the iPhone. Following some research, it has emerged that the Droid is a little heavier than the iPhone. This can be explained by the fact that it has a slide keyboard, a screen that is a bit broader and a touch screen keyboard as well.

Such functions include mapping and every turn directions; and it can run apps and connect to music libraries. This phone can take good quality videos in poorly lit conditions and is fitted with a 5 mega pixel camera. Another aspect that makes it attractive is that it has a replaceable micro SD card. It appears the Verizon Droid has the features the market wants in a smart phone. The Droid has now been added to the market of smart phones which already has devices like iPhones and BlackBerrys. Considering the presence of all these gadgets in the market, one can only imagine an increase of internet use as a result in the near future.

The question to ask is now that the new Verizon Droid has hits the market - is your business ready to take advantage of blogs, apps and such capabilities this device has? Many businesses, most probably including yours, are not grabbing this advantage. You should start to make arrangements so you can use these smart phone capabilities to market your business in markets you never thought of. Perhaps you might consider developing an app for this kind of phone. Still, you can create a website specifically tailored for phones like the Droid. These phones have been in the market for quite some time now, but some business people have not yet awoken to the fact that they can use these phones to improve their businesses.

You might visit some sites which might appear not to work as they were intended. This is because the developer did not think to develop it around a smart phone. We are living in technologically changing times. If your business does not change with the times and adopt the use of modern technology, then it risks lagging into oblivion. These phones offer an advantage you should not let go. The days are gone when trade was conducted in markets, as today the internet is the market place.
