Discover the AT&T BlackBerry Torch 9810

The new AT&T BlackBerry Torch 9810 is the ultimate bridge between power and class in the field of mobile phone technology.

In terms of power, this phone operates on the new BlackBerry 7.0 operating system from RIM (Research In Motion). This is much faster than previous versions and so there is consequently a shorter execution time by the phone. The phone has an internal memory of 8GB, which enables users to store a vast amount of data in the phone. This data storage can be further expanded as the phone also has an inbuilt microSD card slot where a memory card can be inserted. As the phone has easy synchronization with a personal computer through the BlackBerry Database Manager, this kind of memory can be used for backup storage of files from the computer. In addition, this phone has 512MB RAM (Random Access Memory). This memory is sufficiently large to power a small computer and, in fact, many P4 computers operate on less. The result is very fast execution of tasks on the phone and its added ability to multitask. With the presence of the Attachment Manager application on the phone, users are able to use the phone to open and edit Microsoft Office documents in different formats and the phones are as efficient for this task as any PC.

There is high-speed internet connection on the phone and it is able to connect by both EDGE and 3G. Combined with the powerful browser installed in the phone, web browsing is taken to another level. It also has the added advantage of a built-in Wi-Fi that provides users with a high-speed internet data connection. The Wi-Fi can also connect the user to any hotspot within range and provides a connection by which the users can make calls over the internet using any VoIP account like Skype. The basic cellular functions are also not compromised. Users are able to make and receive GSM calls with great voice quality. It has an inbuilt speakerphone that makes it convenient for call conferencing. Text messaging too is improved on the phone with the presence of predictive text applications installed on the phone.

The AT&T BlackBerry Torch 9810 also takes entertainment up another level. It has a 5 megapixel camera that enables it to shoot high-resolution pictures and HD (High Definition) videos. It has a media player that can open files of many types. It is this feature that places it above many T-Mobile BlackBerry phones.

These features are all enclosed in the beautiful slide design of the phone. It has a sliding full QWERTY keypad and a large 3.2-inch touch screen that has high resolution of 600x480. It has an all touch design where the all the keys are tiny touch pads. The result is that the phone looks very stylish, while remaining one of the most efficient smart phones available.
